Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) part of the Emirates Group is the world?s largest in-flight catering operation providing in-flight catering and support services for airlines from Dubai International Airport. With a workforce of over 6500 multinational employees and four work sites, EKFC has a clientele of 120 airlines and airline hospitality lounges in Dubai International Airport as well as running a large off airport Food and Beverage business.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure that all customers are provided with the best quality of food and service.
  • Facilitate cost effective and efficient management methods to continuously improve standards of customer service.
  • Ensure that cleaning schedules are met with in compliance with established Hygiene & Safety Standards.
  • Make sure that assigned staff is professionally supervised, trained, motivated and counselled to achieve the objectives agreed upon with and provide the necessary guidance whenever required.
  • Responsible for giving clear instructions regarding the work to be performed to team members with deadlines and quality standards.
  • Conduct spot-checks at the lounges section in order to ensure that food and equipment are provided as per the business standards.
  • Ensure that the required stock levels for all outlets are properly maintained according to current levels of consumption.
  • Prepare food and store requisitions for the outlets.
  • Responsible for implementing safe working practices and procedures in accordance with EKFC policies.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Diploma holder in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
  • High standards of verbal and written communication in English
  • Experience in a supervisory role in an international airport or 4-5 star hotel environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staff
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and anticipate emerging customer needs to continually improve service standards
  • A professional manner with the ability to work under pressure to meet targets and achieve results
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others
